Karl Marx is one of the most influential personalities in human history. His work, philosophy got both adoration and criticism too. His work in economics is the most fundamental foundation for the current understanding of the relationship of labor and the associated investment. Many intellectuals, trade unions, artists and political parties around the world have influenced Marx's thinking, philosophy, and work, and many have adopted and changed his ideas. Marx is generally considered one of the modern sociologists.
Although those thoughts did not spread mainly until Marx died, his influence after his death was extended. Since the Russian Revolution, many revolutions around the world have declared that Marxism theory is the foundation. In the 20th century, many nations declared themselves as Marxist countries. Marx had a profound impact on many of the 20th century communist regime leading world leaders, including Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Salvador Alende, Josip Braj Tito and Quamma Cruz.
Today world is celebrating his birthday, on this occasion I would like to raise some points about adoptability of Marxism, communism for today's world. However Marx's morality one of the most paradoxical issue to understand. On reading Marx’s works at all periods of his life, there appears to be the strongest possible distaste towards bourgeois capitalist society, and endorsement of future communist society.
According to my understanding communism is a failed ideology. It was tried from last few hundred years, forcefully implemented in many countries. All most all communist countries ruled under dictatorship in the name of party ( indirectly under a dictator ).
I personally feel that those dictators perhaps wanted to keep the power with them for ever, I believe they promoted this ideology to hold the power remain with them. The basic frame work of communism like 'state will take decisions according to the welfare of community which is a smallest unit of the society'. But one basic point was neglected here, Community is a combination of people, 'Person' will be the smallest unit of society. So I personally feel communism is a philosophy with lacking of human touch, though they say we are completely against to Mechanisation. "Marx's view will clarify about human angle, according to him communism would not be brought about by high minded benefactors of humanity". That means he wanted to avoid think tanks of the society, while the state implementing communism. As a result, Lot of incidents are remain silent witness for suppressing humanity and human rights in communist regime.
May be communism helped a little to the world to brought up rational thinking, may be given inspiration for many struggles and movements, but all this goodness of the cost of huge human loss. Modern world in 21st century, many non communist countries implementing pro-labour policies with out touching the socialist economy model. If we take the quality of life scale as a measurement, no communist country will stand among the worlds top 10. Finally I want to say that no country in communist regime provided best quality of life, in fact in the name of communism communist leaders have promoted monarchism, highest humanity destruction happened in communist regime.
